To know me is to know that the Riverboat Gamblers are a big deal to me. That can also be said of the individual band members’ other projects. Gamblers guitarist Ian McDougall has thrown down a couple of ripping garage rockers with long-time Gamblers producer/studio wizard Stuart Sikes and like the project’s name suggests, this is a very nice surprise. Super fun and catchy in that Gamblers vein with singalong choruses. An all-around good time. The only bummer here is that these two songs are on an ultra-limited lathe cut 7” single, so good luck finding that. I highly recommend buying the download on Bandcamp though.
