Goth rock from Warsaw, Poland. This lives up to its aesthetic, which is a pen and ink drawing of a woman in a boa, high heels, and smoking a cigarette, holding what looks to be Satan on a leash, but I can’t be sure. It doesn’t sound as evil as all that, but it has that combination of class and darkness that I think is implied by the cover, bringing together some excellent piano elements to add a clean ramp up to darker, new wave-inspired poppy arcs that lead you into a sea of strange feelings: Do I feel good? Do I recognize the horror of the world and feel awful? It is somehow both? It feels that way when you listen to this. –Theresa W. (Self-released)
