This one came out of nowhere and threw me for a loop. I wasn’t expecting to hear something that floored me like this record. I hear early B-52’s and Pylon, which were roaming the earth around this same time. But they aren’t copping anyone’s licks in these songs—wild, experimental, and totally thrilling.
