My Bloody Valentine-influenced, blissed-out, sun-kissed power pop punk rock mixed with the fuzzy distortion of Nirvana, topped off with strong, lush female lead and backing vocals. I review so much stuff that leaves me saying, “Meh.” But Monster Treasure’s ten songs caught my ear from the first listen. This deserved a second listen. And third.
