Orange County, California’s Dodge Dart reformed not long ago, returning with another fabulous pop punk album. Now they’ve changed their name to Mesa Lanes and are continuing to kick ass. Vocalist Nicky Sjobeck has a really amusing, one-of-a-kind snotty drive to his voice that always sets him apart. The fifteen tracks here are as catchy as anything Dodge Dart produced, and hopefully someone takes the time to put it out as an LP. It’s one of those albums that is so crazy good, you’re chanting along to the songs by the time the second verse starts in your first listen through.
