MEETING COMICS #25: WRESTLING AND MANIA PT. 2, $5, 5½” x 5½”, 32pgs.

As this is part two of a story I did not read the first half of, I can’t really weigh in on the plot, which I was a bit confused by and which the character chart at the beginning does not really help. In any event, it’s the twenty-fifth installment in Andrew Neal’s “comedy soap opera comic book” (in his words). This may be because of the above confusion or because I’ve only read one other issue prior to this, but from my limited perspective, I wasn’t really sure what the ultimate arc was beyond everyone either being horny for each other or having dated in the past or some similar baggage, and what plot I could glean seemed kind of rushed and disjointed. It’s clear Neal puts a lot of time into the drawings and has put a lot of time into this series at large, but it’s just not really my thing. That doesn’t mean it won’t be yours.
