Diverting from the usual, tongue-in-cheek autobio meditation comics I’m used to reading from this zinester, this special edition comic is their interpretation and adaptation of one of the most famous ancient Sutras, the Heart Sutra. The fundamentals of emptiness, form, and human existence are briefly illustrated here, each page a small contemplation of the Buddhist text. I appreciated the author kept a little bit of humor in a few pages to keep me engaged as well.
