I roll my eyes when bands are compared to Mission Of Burma since it’s often such a lazy comparison. I can assure you, though, that the primary influence on Meal is Mission Of Burma. A quirky debut, Jimmy utilizes the revived cassette format to decent effect, including classy, silkscreened, hand-stamped packaging.
