It only takes about ninety seconds before the band pulls you in with a catchy chorus and then we are off to the races. Songs about frustration, failures, and regrets. In other words—a typical Saturday night for some of us. But we’re all in this together, even when the picture isn’t pretty. Certainly all the songs aren’t about desperate times. “Radio” is about how the singer used to feel when listening to the Ramones back in the day. Some things never go out of style. Add this band to the list. Break out of jail if you have to and get this CD in your hands. –Sean Koepenick (75orLess, mcgunks.bandcamp.com)
