LOT LIZARDS: Try to Accept That You Are Losing It: CD

Jul 20, 2022

This band from Tampa, Fla. ride that line right between ’90s pop punk and ’90s melodic hardcore. The recording is a little muddy-sounding, which gives it some personality and keeps things from falling into Hopeless/Fearless Records clone territory. Songwriting is above average, with a real Face To Face feel in a lot of places. I had enough of this style twenty-five years ago, but this is probably the best band in this style that I’ve heard in a decade or more, so melodicore fans will probably want to be all over this. –Mike Frame (River Monster)
