When I first looked at this CD I thought Lorne Behrman looked like a wannabe Bruce Springsteen. Well, my friends, looks are deceiving. Instead of The Boss, Berhman’s sound is more like Johnny Thunders or Lou Reed. It isn’t so much punk as it is rock but it certainly has its roots in the former. That’s because Behrman was in a bunch of punk bands, including L.E.S. Stitches and Dimestore Haloes. The attitude and music are certainly a long way from those acts, but these four songs are quality. If you miss any of the ’70s NYC punk, this should pique your interest. –Kurt Morris (Spaghetty Town)
