Adam Voith is back with his sixth issue of the mid-brow literary zine, Little Engines. There are stories and poetry from Lexi Kent-Monning, Mike Nagel, Gauraa Shekhar, and Sean Ennis. The artwork is all by the wonderfully talented Joan LeMay and is the highlight of the issue. That’s not to say the rest of the material is poor but LeMay is an amazing portrait artist whose work complements the pieces well. I especially liked Nagel’s piece about living in Texas and being entirely out of his element as a former big city resident. The issue is free, so if you like indie literary publications, send Adam a postcard or letter or go to littleengines.pub. –Kurt Morris (4117 Hillsboro Pike #103-332, Nashville, TN 37215)
