LAZY CLASS: Self-titled: CD

Jan 21, 2022

Polish street punk veterans Lazy Class return with a slightly different lineup on this self-titled album. I was not familiar with the band until this showed up in my mailbox, and I’m stoked it did. I was hooked not just by the catchy riffs and smart political lyrics, but by the whole package. The songwriting is great, the recording quality has that perfect balance of rawness and clarity, and the musicianship is on another level. The amount of epic shredding almost can’t be quantified. Having listened to a few tracks of their old stuff prior to the lineup change, this album has more anger and intensity than their previous releases. No judgement there, it’s just a different vibe. This will likely stay in heavy rotation for the near future. –Paul J. Comeau (TNT Tunes, tnttunes.pl)
