KUBIE AND THE RATS: Turtle Dove: 7”

Reissue of a 1974 single. Band was known as Rats the first time ’round, now they’ve added “Kubie And The” to the name ’cause that’s apparently how they intended it to be all along. The title track is an ode to a girlfriend with an apparently insatiable sexual appetite. The flip, “Oxford Donna,” is a paean to a woman who apparently enjoys multiple partners at once. One time pressing: five hundred copies. –Jimmy Alvarado (Just Add Water, justaddwaterrecords.bigcartel.com)
