KING-CAT COMICS AND STORIES, #80, $5, 5½” x 8 ½”, black and white, stapled, 40 pgs.

Ah, King Cat, what a delightful presence you are whenever you decide to show up. If you aren’t familiar, this is a loose collection of musings, most in comic form, meticulously measured and crisp in execution. It’s a really beautiful zine to hold. The subject matter of this issue mostly deals with animals and the way they make our brains perform neurological gymnastics. My favorite moment in the entire read was finding out John and his wife can’t say the word “shower” for fear of upsetting one of their cats. So cute. –Gwen Static (Spit And A Half, PO Box 142, So.
