JIFFY MARX: “She’s My Witch” b/w “Warning Sign”: 7”

I think this is what they call “dad rock”? It reminds me of the pop rock my dad listened to, which was largely from the 1970s. If you like retro power pop or want to feel nostalgia for this era of music, it’s well done, peppy, melodic, and engaging. Personally, I wasn’t alive in the 1970s so I have no nostalgia to drawn on. I’d bet my stimulus check this artist worships Alex Chilton. –Lorien Lamarr (Snappy Little Numbers, snappylittlenumbers.com)
