Perfectly paired together, The Jasons and Black Russians are two gimmick pop punk groups that manage to deliver fine tunes despite their jokey nature. The theme of this record is that each band offers a track about killing the other, along with a second track about attacking one another’s countries. There’s a place for apoplectic, serious lyrics.
