Slurry, jagged, off-beat post-punk by way of the DIY punk scene. At times reminds me of LCD Soundsystem being in a punk band, trading their turntables for guitars. Alternatively, The Rapture if they let their songs be less than four minutes long. There’s a dancey groove foundation that permeates the sound of this entire record. The vocals rest into the mix like a ghost, working as a fourth instrument rather than a lead. This whole record is a singular sound, justifying its self-confidence every step of the way. –Gwen Static (Swimming Faith, swimmingfaithrecords.com / ismaticguru.bandcamp.com)
