With the publication of The Cult of Loretta (Lazy Fascist Press, 2015) Kevin Maloney took the indie lit scene by storm. His autobiographical mash-up of outsider angst and epic abuse of a make-believe drug called Screw explores a darker side of Portland, Ore. Kevin’s new novel, Getting Over Wendy, takes on parenthood and divorce through Maloney’s cracked lens. Kevin stopped by Razorcake/Gorsky Press headquarters before his reading at the 13th anniversary celebration of Vermin on the Mount at Book Show in Highland Park, California.
