Pravda Records, that’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. Much to my surprise, the label has been semi-active this entire time so that shows what the hell I know. This band, Hushdrops, features some long-time Chicago luminaries from bands such as Veruca Salt, Apocalypse Hoboken, and Waco Brothers. They play fairly tuneful and enjoyable indie pop that brings Lemonheads to mind on more than one occasion. Very good stuff that is highly recommended for any fan of ’90s fuzz pop type stuff. –Mike Frame (Pravda)
