The Hot Pockets still have a Geocities website, so I’m gonna guess that they haven’t done much since laying down this hour of Dictators and Real Kids worship in 2001. The power pop is consistently fast and catchy—it got my first-grader trying to duck-walk across our kitchen—and the recording’s pretty clear, but your mileage may vary depending on your tolerance for sexist, ableist stage banter and songs about girls with “oral fixations.” A lot has changed in the last twenty years! –Chris Terry (bigneckrecords1.bandcamp.com)
