Bill Stevenson has found another band to sit behind a drum kit for and this one immediately made me think of All and Pollen. Obviously, the Stevenson/All connection is obvious, but Higley also includes Bob Hoag of Pollen. Throw in three members of G-Whiz and it virtually cements how the band will sound, barring any wild tangent the personnel wanted to explore. However, melodic punk runs through the veins of all concerned here and with the standard tight Blasting Room production, Higley features a big, clean sound offered up via a mid-tempo delivery.
