The Trenton Free Public Library in Trenton, N.J. has started its very own zine series focused on points of interest from books found in their local history room. This mini-zine gives a brief synopsis of the R.C. Maxwell Advertising Company, one of the earliest outdoor advertising companies (you know, billboards). Billboards for Coca-Cola, electric light-up signs, and advertisements for the U.S. Food Administration, all over New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania in the 1900s. Humorous, short, and informative. –Tricia Ramos (Hey Ladies! R.C. Maxwell, trentonlib.org/zine-library)
