I sat here staring at this CD for weeks before listening to it. Somehow, I had convinced myself I wasn’t going to like it. Almost invariably, I end up kicking myself for being a dork as I rock out to something cool. This is exactly one of those situations. The moment I put this disc on, I almost jumped out of my seat. This is really good big guitar pop/rock. It’s funny; my first thought was, “Holy hell this feels like early Trigger Happy!” and what do you know, there’s a former member kicking around in there. I don’t want it to sound like I think this is dated (it’s not) but there is a heavy early ’90s Ontario vibe going on here and I fucking love it! My only gripe is that it is only five songs. More!
