Oh damn, we have a great pedigree here right off the bat with a band that features Brad and Chloe of the great ’90s band Big Hello. Glad to hear they’re still kicking out solid pop songs with strong hooks and great melodies. Might be a little sophisticated to put the power pop tag on it as this moves into near-XTC and Squeeze territory in places. If you’re looking for a great pop record from people who know how to do it right, this is where you wanna look. –Mike Frame (Pravda)
