A double-disc vinyl version of the second cassette tape by H.N.F. (short for Hrdinové Nové Fronty) an ’80s Czech punk/post-punk band that apparently had a huge impact on that country’s underground music scene and later morphed into gothic rock band XIII. Století. The music here is largely mid-tempo punk, well written, delivered with a sense of urgency that is very much of its time, and tackles subjects beyond the usual “let’s get drunk” and “fuck the system” punk lyrical tropes. –Jimmy Alvarado (PHR, phr.cz)
