The name of this record is A Slab of Liquid Cunt. I’m sure the band is really proud of that. What you get here is a bunch of better-than-average Slap-A-Ham rehash hardcore. They use the “cunt” in just about every song. Edgy, I guess. There are some cool parts, like the groove in “Dedicated Rooter” that pulls you away from the thrashing for a minute, which makes the run back into the grind a little jarring in a good way. They have some pretty okay Eyehategod-style breakdowns and some weird time signatures in some slow parts, but, for the most part, this is just some guys trying to be Seth Putnam.
