If road tripping with the Black Keys in their El Camino to Jack White’s house sounds like your idea of a good time, then The Gartrells might be right up your alley with their fusion of rock’n’roll and soul. Each track on this conjures up a different sound with different influences but still make sense together. Definitely not my thing, but fans of rock’n’soul might vibe with it. –Paul J.
