FROGGY AND THE RINGES: Ringe Rock Pond Scum: LP

Sep 22, 2022

Although, Froggy And The Ringes released a pretty good single earlier this year, I was uncertain how an album which included a bunch of amphibian-based songs would come across. I’m pleased to report that it works well—and, hell, I’m not ashamed to say it—I’m down with singing along to “Fuck you, Kermit!” at the top of my voice. The band rips through ten punk-fueled, garage rock-influenced tracks, dripping with attitude and a no-nonsense delivery. Another gem from that most prolific of punks, James Domestic. –Rich Cocksedge (Kibou, [email protected], kibourecords.bigcartel.com / Amok, [email protected], amokrecords.bigcartel.com)
