This new book from Jonas Cannon was a nice surprise to get in my review materials. I’ve always liked his writing, and this new book was such a gem. Every page was a small story (less than fifty words), and yet each micro-story gave a deeply personal glimpse into a scene, characters, or a moment, and felt intimate. I found myself wanting more from each story, but also feeling like it was the perfect amount. I only wish I had read through the book slower, allowing myself more time to exist in these tiny worlds with their individuals, like a fly on the wall looking in.
