ENSOR: Stench of Morgue, Scent of Parties: CS

Jul 20, 2022

Dark and stormy, lo-fi and gnarly. Burnt to a crisp and ready for your listening, these sub-two-minute songs are experimentations in noise and the limits of the human voice. On their bandcamp, they let us know that, “Ensor decided to keep their individual identities secret as part of their choice of being non defined by race, gender, age, or country of origin,” so far be it for me to attempt to gather any of that information. I’m totally happy to take it as it comes and this record comes hard. For fans of lo-fi hardcore with melodic whims. –Theresa W. (Swimming Faith)
