Anthemic pseudo-emo, somewhere between the ‘90s output of Dischord records and the Latterman family of bands. It’s a pretty good introductory single to this band. In three songs you’re introduced to their interwoven vocal lines and Dinosaur Jr.-style mumble-choruses. Based on the recording, I couldn’t tell you how many members in the band, which I find interesting. The guitar sound is produced in such a way that it becomes muddled and thick. There’s a slight shoegaze (shoeglaze?) to their music that adds to the lazy, depressed vibe of the release. Recommended. –Bryan Static (Debt Offensive, debtoffensiverecs.bigcartel.com)
