Honestly I listen to stuff like this and wonder if the band has ever read a single page of Razorcake. It’s not my intention to gatekeep DIY music at all. However, what the fuck is this alt-country thing doing in my review pile? I first listened to it with fellow Razorcaker Craven Rock and he kept saying it was just like Lucero. I mean, yeah I guess they’re in the same vein, but where are the punk ethics? I just don’t think we are the audience for this.
