The opening page of this zine reads, “Andre Lux began drawing stick figure cartoons as a schoolboy… and has hardly improved his craft.” While his art style has not changed, I would wager to bet his comedy has. These stick figure cartoons are so cute and funny, the art style doesn’t take away from anything. Satirical, sometimes gags, they poke fun at the artist’s own anxieties, what it’s like getting older, and topics of popular culture. The only thing I really struggled with while reading it was getting my thumbs to grip the glossy paper, which sounds like a me problem, to be honest. –Tricia Ramos (Egon Forever!, [email protected], egonforever.de)
