This is a four-way split LP featuring Delaware and Pennsylvania bands that play quality, heavy, emo-ish rock. Each artist delivers two tracks, and this doesn’t feel like a comp since the tracks are all so similar, both lyrically and musically. When I reviewed records for Punk Planet from 1999 until it went under in 2007, there were a lot of bands putting out records that sounded like the ones included here. Almost feeling like a throwback to the time period when Dear You-era Jawbreaker was influencing a giant chunk of young American musicians, I found myself enjoying this quite a bit. –Art Ettinger (Dullest, dullestrecords.bandcamp.com)
