The album art for this was a great preview of what’s to come. Two cityscapes (one purple, one blue) stacked, one upside down with “Dusteaters” written on a ripped-out portion of the image. The sound is a little abrasive. It’s colorful but not so colorful you can’t focus on the elements. It sounds like it could be in a sci-fi movie. Genre-wise, the sound is one part punk, one part spaced-out garage rock. The tape sounds like a well-done live recording, which really makes me want to see this band if I get the chance. It’s not a long tape, so just start from the beginning and listen through. You won’t be disappointed. For fans of Spray Paint and William Gibson. –Nicole X (Hip Kid)
