DUST OF DAYS: Analog Mind Bender: CD

Nov 22, 2017

Dust Of Days fuse some of the best and worst vibes of ‘90s-era alterna-whatever rock. It’s like dad rock, but for ‘90s kids. Each track has a slightly different sound, with vibes hearkening back to all the hits of the ‘90s. They even get a little industrial vibe on the secret track at the end. You might find yourself nostalgic for the days when you wore JNCO jeans and drank Surge soda after listening to this. –Paul J. Comeau (Aqualung, facebook.com/aqualungmusic)
y music. On this record, Miss P’s breathy utterances are sampled over the Dehumanizers’ odd grooves. I can see this record having its primary value as something clever (?) college radio DJs can play as a sound bed when they’re reading their PSAs at the top of the hour, but, above and beyond that, I can say with some assurance that I am not with this band. BEST SONG: “Pamela.” BEST SONG TITLE: “Miss P.” “Pamela” is far too informal, ya know? FANTASTIC AMAZING TRIVIA FACT: This record was released six years ago and was reviewed in Razorcake in 2012. ¬–Rev. Nørb (PIG / Little Mafia / Flytrap / RenegadeRadio, renegaderadio.com)
