DRY WEDDING: The Long Erode: LP

It’s great to see friends take risks and challenge themselves to explore their artistic abilities, and it’s even more rewarding when they excel at it. There’s a niche scene in music that contains bands like Wovenhand, Inca Babies, Crime And The City Solution, the Starvations, and now Dry Wedding. The vocals lie in a similar field as Pink Turns Blue, while musically things go in a gothic, Americana, Western, more-rock-than-punk sound that sits well next to a glass of bourbon. Take note of this new band from Portland, Ore. This is a promising first record. –Ryan Nichols (Resurrection, [email protected])
