Obviously, we’re big fans over here. Kiyoshi “Lucky” Nakazawa—DMZ top monster—was a regular Razorcake contributor for well over a decade, and not being able to see his work on a bi-monthly basis leaves an emptiness that is thankfully partially satiated with this spectacular issue! His comics and illustrations exist at this mind-blowing intersection of avenues. Combat sports mixed with punk rock and horror comics peppered with pin-up vixens and anime oddities. The influences are wide and expertly wrangled into a cohesive style that is uniquely Lucky’s. Come for the Iron Maiden, stay for the explanation of ancient mathematics.
