DRUG LUST: No One Is Home: 7” EP

I’m guessing this is an anti-straight edge band since the cover is recycling an image of an early ’90s straight edge cover, and the kid is in the cross hairs with blood splatter. Do people even care if someone is or is not straight edge anymore? Musically, these guys dish out some fast to mid-tempo hardcore punk with some rock’n’roll elements to keep things interesting. The vocals remind me of Ray Cappo with the Tony the Tiger growls, only this guy sounds less corny. The sound is big and chunky, and won’t go down smooth. As intended. –Matt Average (Cruel Noise)
