DRAGNESS: Monumental Moves and Unattainable Goals: CD

May 31, 2017

Dragness’s Monumental Moves and Unattainable Goals is quick, speedy pop punk from Nashville. The album is eight songs (at least two of which have to do with drinking too much) in eighteen minutes, so Dragness doesn’t screw around; they get in and get out. I honestly can’t think of anyone this sounds like, but that’s not to say it’s unique. Rather, it’s generic in the sense that after listening to punk all these year, bands that play this style of pop punk all tend to melt together into a puddle of me not caring. –Kurt Morris (Self-released, dragness.com)
