DRAGGED IN: EP 2: CD

Nothing overly spectacular here as this hardcore quintet from Toronto lays down five muscular tracks with the emphasis leaning more towards power than speed. The result is a solid release that tends to stay close to the format of chunky guitars, occasional metal leads, rumbling drums, and vocals from a half-shredded throat. I’m on the fence on this one, as I don’t dislike it but there’s not enough for me to invest in more than the occasional play. –Rich Cocksedge (Self-released, [email protected], draggedin.bandcamp.com)
