New recordings from long-running Boston band that dates all the way back to the early ’80s and released a pair of full length albums on Homestead in that era. This is—still—great, high energy, rockin’ punk with a garage undercurrent. In other words, exactly the sound that Boston is known for and so great at, from Willie Alexander to The Real Kids and Nervous Eaters and lesser known killers like The Dawgs. Saw The Dogmatics live a few weeks back and I can say they still bring it in that setting as well. –Mike Frame (Rum Bar, rumbarrecords.bandcamp.com)
