D-beat split from two Swedish heavy hitters, one old and one new. Splits aren’t competitions, they’re complementary collaborations, often between friends. But let’s be honest, they kind of are also competitions. I can’t think of a single split I own where I don’t prefer one side over the other. Both bands bring the goods on this split, but Deny wins the day for me with slightly more tuneful and traditional hardcore songs that stuck with me after I was done listening—always a good sign.
