DELETÄR:Self-titled: LP/CD

Jul 21, 2023

The second album from this French outfit is as uncompromising as its predecessor was, and offers eleven tracks of high-intensity, bludgeoning d-beat. Whereas sometimes, the genre can become a bit of a musical mess, Deletär refrains from this by maintaining a clarity, which doesn’t detract from the power and, if anything, helps sustain an exhilarating sound. This is a fierce record with a heavy-hitting quality I’m thoroughly enjoying. –Rich Cocksedge (Kick Rock / Destructure, [email protected], destructure.org / Vox Populi, voxpopuli.theshop.jp)
