DEHUMANIZERS, THE: Fresh Corn and Premium Bananas: CDEP

Seattle’s Dehumanizers are funny, strange, and jokey. Their mid-paced songs dabble in psychedelia and are intended to be simultaneously obnoxious and driving. I think I get it, and I think I kind of like it. They’re probably more impactful live than recorded, but they’ve developed quite the following. Interesting societal jabs are taken, and the musical mishmash is generally effective. As endorsable as any out-there farce group, I suppose. –Art Ettinger (PIG)
