I don’t how they did it, but The Schizophonics have taken things to a much higher level on their brand new album People in the Sky.  When I first played it, I was completely blown away. This new album really succeeds in capturing the high-level energy of their live shows (something I felt their previous recordings lacked). Not only that, but this album is drenched in delicious psych garage punk!

I hear a lot of MC5, Kinks, and Back from the Grave influences here. I seriously couldn’t stop listening to it for two solid weeks—I was totally addicted. This is one of those albums where every song is so fucking great, you can’t even choose a favorite song. Seriously, every song on this flawless album is my favorite! It’s absolutely perfect from start to finish.

I don’t know what magic potion they drank, or what kind of pact they made with satan at the railroad tracks, but The Schizophonics have recorded a masterpiece called People in the Sky, and so far, it’s Deb Frazin’s favorite album of 2019.

Release date is October 31st. Treat yourself to some hot new wax on Halloween!
