This photo of The Premonitions was snapped at Zebulon during my first week back at shows since the pandemic started. I was in the mood for some garage punk and a Premonitions set was just what the doctor ordered!
I grew up listening to a lot of ’60s psych bands like The Standells, Music Machine, The Leaves, and Chocolate Watchband. The Premonitions have that authentic psych sound that I’ve always loved so much. Their 7” singles are great. I highly recommend this one:
