This photo was snapped on the fourth (and final) night of the Fuzz residency at The Teragram Ballroom. It was the first time I’d seen them play live since 2015, and as expected, their set was a thunderous, rumbling earthquake that whipped up the sold-out crowd into a wild eruption of pure joy.
The Teragram Ballroom in DTLA is the best place to see a band like Fuzz because of their state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. I’m so glad Ty Segall always books his bands in that venue. The band was drenched in deep blue and red lights, they were louder than thunder (you could feel it), and the encore included everyone’s favorite “What’s in My Head” (you can watch it by clicking the link below). Two Segall/Moothart shows in one month, and I can’t fucking wait for the next one!
