D. SABLU: Odds & Ends: CS

Nov 15, 2022

D. Sablu started as one person with a drum machine and developed into a full band, and that evolution is on display in this little five-song rocker. The highlights are the three full-band live tracks which are absolute no-bullshit punk rippers and include a Rudimentary Peni cover. The first couple songs are studio tracks with what sounds like a drum machine and, honestly, I wish they were either catchier or rocked harder. Go see this band and keep an eye peeled for whatever they drop next. –Chris Terry (Wet Cassettes, wetcassettes.bandcamp.com)
